Peter David's Artful

A single-issue debut from 2017, Peter David's Artful was a creator-owned series from Action Lab Comics that reimagined the Artful Dodger as a young woman. Written by Peter David with art from the same creative team, the story offered a fresh take on the classic Dickensian character, setting up a new origin and a new kind of adventure. Though brief, the issue marked a distinctive, modern spin on a literary archetype.
