Percevan

In the long-running French fantasy series Percevan (1985–2013, Dargaud), artist Philippe Luguy brought to life a medieval world of quests and magic, working most frequently with writers Jean Léturgie and Xavier Fauche. Spanning 12 albums, the series follows the adventures of its eponymous knight-errant, blending heroic fantasy with a distinctly European bande dessinée sensibility. A staple of the genre, Percevan is remembered for its lush, detailed artwork and the classic, sweeping storytelling that defined a generation of Franco-Belgian comics.
