Penthouse Comix

From 1994 to 1995, Play Press published Penthouse Comix, a seven-issue series that brought the adult magazine's signature blend of glamour and fantasy to the comic-book format. Most famously featuring the lush, iconic artwork of Frank Frazetta and Luis Royo, the title offered a brief, boundary-pushing experiment in mature-reader comics during the mid-1990s. It remains a curious footnote in the era's attempt to merge high-end illustration with provocative adult content.
