About the series
Based on Ingvar Ambjørnsen's popular Norwegian book series, Pelle & Proffen launched as a single comic issue from Semic in 1993. Written by Ambjørnsen alongside Eirik Ildahl and illustrated by Boro Pavlovic, this one-shot translated the gritty, socially-conscious adventures of the young detective Pelle and his friend Proffen into a visual medium. It stands as a unique, self-contained adaptation from the formative years of Norwegian comics.
