Pecos Bill

From 1979 to 1981, the French publisher Jeunesse et vacances brought the legendary cowboy Pecos Bill to life in a 15-issue comic series. Guided primarily by writer Guido Martina, with artwork from a rotating team including Raffaele Paparella, Pier Lorenzo De Vita, and Gino D'Antonio, the series offered a European take on the classic American folk hero. It stands as a spirited, all-ages adventure strip that blends tall-tale Western lore with the clean, dynamic storytelling of its Italian creators.
