Pecos Bill

A Finnish comic series published by Sarjakustannus Oy from 1963 to 1968, Pecos Bill ran for 72 issues, bringing the legendary American cowboy to Nordic readers. The strip blended Western adventure with tall-tale humor, following the exaggerated exploits of the folk hero across the frontier. Though the character originated in U.S. folklore, this series became a distinctive part of Finnish comics history, offering a unique cultural take on the mythic cowboy.
