Hitoshi Iwaaki's horror manga classic Parasyte received a definitive Brazilian Portuguese release from Editora JBC across ten issues in 2015–2016. The series follows high school student Shinichi Izumi after a parasitic alien fails to take over his brain, instead merging with his right hand to create the sentient, talking being Migi. As other, more hostile parasites begin murdering and replacing humans, Shinichi and Migi must navigate a tense, often violent coexistence.
