Panic

From 1997 to 1999, Gemstone Publishing revived the classic EC Comics spirit with Panic, a satirical comic series that ran for twelve issues. Featuring a stable of legendary creators including writers Jack Mendelsohn and Al Feldstein, and artists Bill Elder, Jack Davis, and Basil Wolverton, the series carried on the tradition of irreverent, madcap humor that defined the original 1950s title. It stands as a late-era homage to EC’s brand of sharp, cartoonish parody, reminding readers of the enduring influence of those mid-century masters.
