About the series
From 1958 to 1966, Panic Publications released nine issues of Panic, a satirical comic that skewered contemporary culture with a sharp, irreverent edge. Most frequently illustrated by the wonderfully expressive Jack Davis, the series also featured contributions from Clement C. Moore and the pseudonymous JF Dullest. A companion to Mad in its early years, Panic remains a noteworthy artifact of 1960s humor comics, showcasing Davis's distinctive cartooning at its most playful.
