Overground

A short-lived but conceptually ambitious two-issue series from 1982–1983, Overground was the creation of Swedish cartoonist Fredrik Frigren. Published in a period when European alternative comics were pushing narrative boundaries, the series is remembered for its distinctive visual style and its place within Frigren's broader, often surreal body of work. Though its run was brief, it stands as a notable artifact of early-80s experimental comics.
