Outer Orbit

In the mid-2000s, Dark Horse published Outer Orbit, a four-issue miniseries that blended sci-fi with gritty crime, following a crew of misfits on a salvage mission gone wrong. Writers Reed Buccholz, Sean Murphy, and Zach Howard crafted the story, with Murphy and Howard also providing the series' distinctive, kinetic artwork. A tight, self-contained thriller, it stands as a sharp example of the creator-driven, genre-mixing work the publisher championed during that era.
