A four-issue Brazilian edition from Editora Abril that collected the original 1990–1991 prestige-format miniseries The Books of Magic, introducing readers to young Timothy Hunter and his journey through the magical realms of the DC Universe. Published in 1991, it brought Neil Gaiman’s lyrical, wide-ranging story to Portuguese-speaking audiences, with art by a rotating team of celebrated illustrators. This series remains significant as the first Brazilian publication of a foundational work that helped define DC’s mature, fantasy-driven Vertigo line.
