Opus

A whimsical, wordless comic series from German publisher Heye Verlag, Opus ran for just three issues between 1977 and 1983. The series is the work of Argentine cartoonist Mordillo, whose distinctive, bulbous-nosed characters and surreal, globe-spanning gags made it a charming showcase of his visual storytelling. Though brief, the series stands as a lovely artifact of the era's European humor comics, capturing Mordillo's playful, observational style at its most concentrated.
