Operation Crossbow

During the mid-1960s, Dell Comics published a single-issue tie-in titled Operation Crossbow, based on the World War II espionage film of the same name. Illustrated by the prolific Jack Sparling, the comic follows Allied agents as they work to sabotage Nazi Germany's secret V-weapon program. Though a brief entry in the war-comics genre, it captures the tense, behind-enemy-lines atmosphere of its cinematic source material.
