One Green Tree

Since 1990, Custom Comic Services has released just a single issue of One Green Tree, a collaboration between writer Scott Deschaine and artist Jim Woodring. This quiet, self-contained comic is a notable early showcase of Woodring’s distinctive, wordless storytelling style, offering a glimpse into the surreal, dreamlike world he would later explore in his acclaimed Frank series.
