Okko

From 2005 to 2016, Bruno Graff's Okko ran for five issues, presenting a self-contained fantasy saga set in a mythic version of feudal Japan. Published by the French label Les Humanoïdes Associés, the series follows a ronin and his companions as they navigate a world of samurai, demons, and ancient magic. Graff's lush, detailed artwork and intricate world-building earned the series a cult following, making it a standout example of European graphic storytelling in the 2000s.
