Ogoniok

An ongoing series from Mosquito, Ogoniok collects the late Sergio Toppi’s previously uncollected short comics, originally published in Italian magazines and newspapers from the 1970s onward. Each volume offers a glimpse into Toppi’s singular visual storytelling, with his dense, expressive ink lines and unconventional page layouts bringing a range of historical and fantastical subjects to vivid life. Launched in 2013, the series serves as a vital archive of the master illustrator’s lesser-known work.
