Oceaankind

In the ongoing series Oceaankind (2021–present, Daedalus), writer Jean-Claude Mourlevat and Maxe L'Hermenier, alongside artist Stedho, launch a singular comic that envisions a world reshaped by rising seas and the resilient communities that adapt to life on the water. This debut issue sets the stage for a thoughtful, environmentally attuned adventure, blending Mourlevat's literary storytelling with Stedho's expressive visuals. As a project from the French publisher Daedalus, it marks a distinctive entry into climate-fiction comics, offering a hopeful yet grounded perspective on humanity's bond with the ocean.
