In this 2001 Image one-shot, writer Dan Jolley and artist Tony Harris launch a grim, post-apocalyptic vision where a supernatural entity known as Obergeist presides over a devastated world. The story follows survivors navigating a hellish highway toward a promised salvation, only to find the road paved with monstrous horrors and moral compromises. This preview issue establishes the series' dark, atmospheric tone and its exploration of faith and survival in a broken landscape.
