About the series
In Brazil's RGE (Rio Gráfica Editora) stable, O Incrível Hulk ran for 48 issues from 1979 to 1982, reprinting classic American Hulk stories for a Portuguese-speaking audience. The series introduced Brazilian readers to the savage green goliath's early adventures, with the character's iconic transformations and struggles against military threats and monstrous foes defining each issue. Though primarily a reprint title, it played a key role in building the Hulk's enduring popularity in Brazil during the late '70s and early '80s.
