About the series
In the mid-1970s, Brazilian publisher EBAL produced a compact, eight-issue color edition of O Homem-Aranha, bringing classic Silver Age Spider-Man stories to Portuguese-speaking readers. Featuring the work of writers Gary Friedrich, Gerry Conway, and Len Wein, alongside artists Jim Mooney, John Romita, and Sal Buscema, the series spotlighted Peter Parker's adventures alongside allies like Captain America, Iron Man, and the Scarlet Witch, with butler Edwin Jarvis also appearing. This short-lived but vibrant run stands as a distinctive entry in the global spread of Marvel's flagship hero, offering a curated glimpse into his early team-ups and solo exploits.
