About the series
From 1969 to 1975, Editora Brasil-América (EBAL) brought the wall-crawler to Brazilian readers in O Homem-Aranha, a 70-issue series that collected classic tales from the original U.S. run. Anchored by the foundational writing of Stan Lee, Gerry Conway, and Roy Thomas, and illustrated by the iconic pencils of Steve Ditko, John Romita, and Gil Kane, the series presented definitive Spider-Man stories in Portuguese for a new audience.
