Nukla

Nukla was a short-lived but visually distinctive science-fiction series from Dell Comics, running for just four issues in the mid-1960s. The strip followed Matthew Gibbs, a man transformed into the super-powered, radiation-wielding Nukla, a hero born from a nuclear accident. The series is notable for bringing together a powerhouse trio of talent—writer Joe Gill and artists Dick Giordano and Steve Ditko—whose work gave the Atomic Age concept a crisp, dynamic look.
