Novi strip, launched in 1937 by publisher Konzorcij Novi strip, is a Croatian comic series that has continued sporadically for decades, with its initial run spanning nine issues. Known for its pioneering role in the region's comic history, the series is most closely associated with its early creators and editors who introduced diverse genres to local readers. Its significance lies in being one of the earliest sustained comic publications in the Balkans, laying groundwork for the medium's development in Croatia.
