About the series
Marvel's 2013–2014 series Nova Classic collects the earliest adventures of Richard Rider, the original Nova, from the 1970s. Written by Marv Wolfman with art from Carmine Infantino, Joe Sinnott, and John Buscema, these three issues introduce the cosmic-powered teen as Earth's newest superhero. It's a compact reprint volume that preserves the humble beginnings of a character who would later become a linchpin of Marvel's space operas.
