No Angel

From 2016 to 2017, Black Mask Studios published No Angel, a four-issue miniseries co-written by Adrianne and Eric Palicki with art by Ari Syahrazad. The story follows a young woman who, after a tragedy, discovers she has the power to communicate with angels—but these celestial beings are far from the benevolent figures of tradition. A grounded, character-driven take on faith and agency, it stands out for its gritty, intimate tone and its exploration of divine power through a modern, human lens.
