About the series
Ben Dunn's long-running Antarctic Press series blends martial-arts action, sci-fi, and high-school comedy into a chaotic, self-aware romp. Debuting in 1994 and spanning over 160 issues, the book follows the misadventures of a human teen and alien princesses attending a school that's as likely to host a giant-robot battle as a pop quiz. With frequent contributions from writers and artists Robby Bevard and Katie Bair, the series became a cornerstone of the American manga-influenced indie scene.
