Ninja High School

A quirky, self-aware series from the early 1990s, Ninja High School (General Press, 1993–present) blends martial-arts action, teen romance, and sci-fi comedy. Known for its lighthearted, manga-influenced style, the series is most closely associated with creator Ben Dunn, who wrote and illustrated the bulk of its run alongside co-writer James Hanrahan. Though it only ran for two issues, it remains a cult touchstone for its playful genre mashup.
