About the series
Across two issues released between 1997 and 2007, DC’s Nightwing Annual offered a pair of standalone, oversized adventures for the former Robin turned Blüdhaven protector. The first annual, by Devin Grayson and Greg Land, pitted Nightwing against a mysterious new threat in a story that deepened his supporting cast, while the second, from Marc Andreyko and Joe Bennett, delivered a tense, character-driven tale. Though brief, these annuals gave key creators room to explore Nightwing’s world beyond the monthly series.
