About the series
From 2002 to 2017, Hjemmet and Egmont published Nemi julehefte, a series of sixteen annual Christmas specials written and drawn by Lise Myhre. Each issue follows the goth-punk heroine Nemi Montoya through seasonal adventures that blend humor, melancholy, and holiday mischief. These specials deepened Myhre's beloved character beyond her newspaper strip, offering fans a yearly dose of darkly festive storytelling.
