Neil the Horse Comics and Stories

Published by Renegade Press from 1984 to 1988, Neil the Horse Comics and Stories was the singular creation of writer/artist Arn Saba, spanning five issues. The series followed the whimsical adventures of its anthropomorphic equine star and his friends in a world blending gentle humor, music, and fairy-tale fantasy. Saba's distinctive, lighthearted art and storytelling made it a charming cult oddity of the mid-80s alternative comics scene, remembered for its sweet-natured eccentricity.
