Natascha

A short-lived but fondly remembered Bastei Verlag series from the mid-1980s, Natascha ran for nine issues and showcased the spirited, lighthearted adventures of its title character. The series is most strongly associated with Belgian artist François Walthéry, who both wrote and drew the strip, often in collaboration with writers Étienne Borgers and Gos, as well as artist Jidéhem. Its clean, expressive ligne claire style and playful tone made it a charming entry in the European comics landscape of the era.
