Naarassarjat

A short-lived but significant Finnish comic series from the early 1990s, Naarassarjat was a five-issue anthology published by Naissarjakuvan yhdistys. Spearheaded by writers Kata Koskivaara and Kati Sorvali, with Sorvali also serving as the primary artist, the series carved out a vital space for women cartoonists in Finland. Its importance lies in its role as a pioneering platform for female-driven narratives and perspectives in a then-male-dominated field.
