In the early 1980s, French publisher Arédit-Artima released Névrose, a short-lived but intense eight-issue series that blended psychological horror with adult-themed thriller narratives. Primarily written by René Bonnefoy and illustrated by José Espinosa Serrano, the series is notable for its moody, atmospheric artwork and its willingness to explore dark, unsettling subject matter outside the mainstream superhero tradition.
