In the late 1960s, the Mexican publisher Editora de Periódicos, S. C. L. "La Prensa" launched Mundos de Terror, a 15-issue horror anthology that brought together a striking mix of international talent. The series is most closely associated with the work of artists Chic Stone, Edvard Moritz, and Kurt Schaffenberger, whose varied styles gave each tale a distinct, chilling atmosphere.
