About the series
From 1958 to 1967, Gráfica Novo Mundo published Mundo de Sombras, a 65-issue horror anthology series that brought a shadowy, supernatural edge to Brazilian comics. Primarily written by Larry Lieber and Stan Lee with art by Jack Kirby, the series adapted the eerie, twist-ending tales that defined the American Atlas and early Marvel style for a Portuguese-speaking audience.
