About the series
A short-lived Finnish series published by Semic in the early 1970s, Muffe-sarja ran for just three issues. The title character, Muffe, is a comedic, anthropomorphic dog created by the cartoonist Jorma "Jope" Pitkänen, who also wrote and drew the strip. While brief, the series is a notable example of Finnish comic publishing from that era, capturing the lighthearted, animal-centric humor popular in European comics at the time.
