Mr. Twee Deedle

From 1913 onward, Cupples & Leon published this single-issue comic, a whimsical creation by artist Johnny Gruelle. The series introduced readers to the gentle, fanciful world of Mr. Twee Deedle, a character whose charm and simplicity helped pave the way for Gruelle's later, more famous work.
