Mr. District Attorney

From 1958 to 1961, Thorpe & Porter published 24 issues of Mr. District Attorney, a comic series that adapted the popular radio and television crime drama into a hard-hitting, panel-by-panel pursuit of justice. Written primarily by Jack Schiff and illustrated by a rotating team of Sheldon Moldoff, Ruben Moreira, and Howard Purcell, the series followed a dedicated district attorney as he built cases against mobsters, con artists, and other criminals in a gritty, pre-Code-style atmosphere.
