Mouse Guard: Legends of the Guard

A charming anthology series set in the world of Mouse Guard, Legends of the Guard ran from 2010 to 2015 under Archaia Studios Press. Each issue collected short tales told by mice in a tavern, with David Petersen providing the framing sequences and co-writing many of the stories. The series expanded the lore of Petersen's beloved medieval mouse world by inviting a rotating cast of guest creators to contribute their own unique legends, making it a showcase of both Petersen's foundational vision and diverse storytelling talent.
