Mosaik

Mosaik, published by Buchverlag Junge Welt from 1991 to 1996 across 22 issues, is a German comic series that continued the adventures of the beloved Digedags characters—the Drei Digedags—through the post-reunification era. Known for its detailed historical and scientific storylines, the series maintained the educational, travelogue style that had defined the original Mosaik comics since the 1950s. While multiple artists and writers contributed, the series is most closely associated with the longtime Mosaik team led by Hannes Hegen, whose work had shaped the comic's identity for decades.
