Monstress

Monstress, launched by Image Comics in 2016, is an ongoing fantasy-horror epic set in a richly imagined alternate 20th-century Asia, where a young girl bonds with a monstrous force within her. The series is most closely associated with writer Marjorie Liu and artist Sana Takeda, whose lush, detailed artwork and intricate world-building have defined its haunting, steampunk-infused aesthetic.
