Modesty Blaise - Klassikerserien

In the early 2000s, Norwegian publisher Hjemmet/Egmont revived the classic British newspaper strip Modesty Blaise as a dedicated comic series, Klassikerserien. Running seven issues from 2003 to 2008, the series collected the original adventures of the enigmatic, ultra-competent heroine, as drawn by artists Jim Holdaway and Romero. Writers Haakon W. Isachsen, John Berge, and Jostein Hansen curated and presented these tales, making the sophisticated spy-caper accessible to a new generation of Scandinavian readers. It stands as a handsome tribute to one of comics' most iconic and capable female leads.
