Misty

In 1985 and 1986, Marvel published Misty, a six-issue limited series written and drawn by the pioneering Trina Robbins. The series follows the adventures of a young woman who works as a motorcycle messenger in a futuristic, high-tech city, blending action with a distinctly female perspective. Robbins brought her underground comix sensibility to the Marvel mainstream, making Misty a notable early example of a superheroine series created entirely by a woman.
