Misery and Vomit

In Misery and Vomit (1993–1994), writer-artist Chantale Doyle crafted a six-issue series for her own imprint that channels raw, visceral emotion through a surreal, black-and-white lens. The comic follows a nameless protagonist navigating a grotesque, dreamlike cityscape where bodily fluids and psychic pain merge into a single, unflinching narrative.
