About the series
Evan Dorkin’s Milk & Cheese is a gleefully anarchic, blackly comic series from Slave Labor Graphics, running from 1991 to the present. Starring a militant, alcoholic carton of milk and a surly wedge of cheese, the strip follows the duo on rampages of petty vengeance against a world that offends them—whether it’s bad music, lazy pets, or just poor customer service. Dorkin’s scratchy, expressive art and razor-sharp dialogue make this a cult classic of ’90s alternative comics, a furious, funny howl against everyday stupidity that remains as potent as ever.
