About the series
A long-running French comic series from Société Française de Presse Illustrée (SFPI), Miaou voilà Félix le chat followed the mischievous adventures of its titular black cat across 170 issues from 1964 to 1984. The strip was most frequently crafted by the Italian team of Manberto, Alberico Motta, and Umberto Manfrin (writing) alongside artists Manberto, Mario Sbattella, and Sandro Dossi, giving it a distinct, playful European sensibility. A beloved fixture of the newsstand, it stands as a charming, decades-spanning example of lighthearted anthropomorphic animal comics in postwar France.
