Metal Mask

From 1987 onward, MC Ediciones published Metal Mask, a six-issue Spanish comic series that carved out a distinctive place in the country's independent comics scene. Known for its gritty, noir-tinged visual style and its focus on a lone vigilante, the series is most closely associated with its creator, whose stark artwork and terse storytelling defined the project's mood. Though brief in its initial run, Metal Mask remains a cult touchstone for fans of European adult-oriented comics, demonstrating the raw, uncompromising narratives that thrived outside the mainstream.
