In the mid-1970s, Editora Bloch brought the martial arts mastery of Shang-Chi to Brazilian readers with Mestre do Kung Fu, a 31-issue series adapting the character's original adventures. The title was most frequently crafted by the powerhouse team of writers Jim Starlin and Steve Englehart, with art by Al Milgrom, Dan Adkins, and Starlin himself, capturing the espionage and mysticism of his battles against Fu Manchu and his own father, Zheng Zu. Alongside allies like Black Jack Tarr and Denis Nayland Smith, this series stands as a key Brazilian imprint of Shang-Chi's classic era.
