Mekanix

A short-lived but visually striking series from Denmark's Interpresse, Mekanix ran for only three issues between 1983 and 1987. The series is most notable for being an early European comics project by American cartoonist Jaime Hernandez, whose distinctive, expressive linework brought a unique energy to its pages. Though brief, Mekanix stands as a fascinating outlier in Hernandez's career, offering a glimpse of his developing style outside of his more famous work.
